The East Hickman High school golf team swings into a new golf season with six boys and one girl on the team this year. They are , Seniors Blake Bishop and Landen Dearborn, Junior Brayden Moore, Sophomores Weston White and Lady Eagle Jessie Redden, and Freshman Eli Shaver and Logan Slate. The team started out their season at the Centerville Municipal Golf Course in Hickman County on August 4th where the boys shot a team combined score of 179 and came in second; Senior Dane Gilbert from Hickman County High school won for the boys shooting a low 32 (-4).

The team traveled to Towhee Golf course in Spring hill on August 10th with Valor Slough from Hickman County and Brayden Moore from East Hickman tied for low medalist shooting 39 (+3).

The following two tournaments were played at Centerville Municipal golf course again on August 18th and Montgomery Bell State Park golf course located in Dickson county. Dane Gilbert of Hickman County shooting a 34 (-2) at the first one and a 36 (E) for the second match.

The boys team traveled to Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday August 25th where the low medalist was Blake Bishop shooting a 40 (+4) and the team as a whole won as well securing the first match win of the season.
