The Friday night football game against Montgomery Central High School was a nail biter coming down the stretch. Both teams had a wonderful start as Micah Godfrey ran in for a touchdown on the first play of the game. Then Montgomery Central scored twice followed by another touchdown for East Hickman. Then the scores were dry ending the regulation in a tie, sending us into overtime. Each team played wonderful defense and allowed zero points in the first overtime sending it to double overtime. Then East Hickman defense stopped the Montgomery Central offense where we finally took the ball and scored, winning the game and securing the first win of the season. Friday, September 5th the East Hickman Eagles will host the McEwen Warriors at 7pm.
