On August 19, the Lady Eagles Volleyball team won their first game of the season against Santa Fe. They were hoping to win in three sets but settled for winning in four. Spectators reported that the team worked well together and that their relationship seemed to go beyond the court, and it does. Many of the players are friends and actively talk in school and hangout off the court. They believe that their close relationships is the cause of the easy communication on the court and led to their win. The next home game is on August 25 against Hampshire Unit School.
