EHHS Culinary worked diligently making and presenting strawberry banana pudding during the National Banana Pudding Festival which is held annually in Centerville during the first weekend in October. They garnered $6,030 after money from the festival was divided among several non-profit organizations.
The students who participated were from several classes, as part of being in a Culinary class students are required to participate in an event outside of class. When asked about their experience at the Banana Pudding festival Mrs. Boehms, the culinary arts teacher, said, “It was stressful yet very fun.” They made 200 cups of pudding, 70 pans— a very impressive number.
