In the Paris 2024 Olympics, the U.S.A. team won a combined total of 126 medals. Out of all the countries and competitors, the U.S. team won first place. The honor of that first place title was won by the hard work of the U.S. Olympic athletes that went and fought for it. Here are highlights from some of the competitors representing the U.S.

Texas woman Tara Davis-Woodhall makes gold with a jump of 7.10m in the women’s long jump. Her closest competitor being 6.91, almost 20cm behind her.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone breaks her own world record for gold in the women’s 400m hurdles. In doing so, this makes her a consecutive Olympic gold winner for women’s 400m hurdles.
