Sometimes it is what is left laying around that tells a tale. For sure, on field day, there were plenty of shoes, sunscreen, and water bottles that were a testment to a great sun-filled, water-logged, fun day outside at EHHS. The waterslide was a hit as well as the showers rained down by EHHS’ neighbor, the East Hickman Fire Department (Thank you!) Military representives brought out go-carts and tents. (Many thanks, as well) And, of course, the cheesy fries in the concession stand were YUM-MY! Students just hung out and kicked back on the campus—these days are the best—it’s when it feels like home.
After lunch brought about the flag football tournament, where co-ed teams scrimmaged on the field. The aptly named “Pinks” (see photo) were the 2024 winners of the field.
