September Blood-drive

On September 15, 2020 East Hickman High School hosted their first blood drive of the year. Students, parents, and faculty members participated in donating. HOSA members took active duty in assisting the staff working the blood drive. HOSA workers fetched students from class and escorted them back after providing refreshments to replenish their energy. The collected blood requirement was met, wrapping up the blood drive as a success.

East Hickman vs. Stewart County

The Eagles defeated the Stewart County Rebels by a score of 28-7. Final stats include 2 rushing touchdowns from quarterback Kyle E. and one from running back Malik C. David W. also returned a fumble for a 67-yard touchdown, and Mason G. was perfect on extra point attempts. The Eagles had 203 rushing yards and 30 passing yards, holding the Stewart county offense to 199 total yards. On defense, the team had 1 interception, forced 4 fumbles and recovered 2 of them. Both teams completed a first half shutout with the first points of the game being scored in the 3rd quarter, the Stewart County defense fell apart in the 4th quarter allowing 21 points in one quarter.

Homecoming is set for September 25th against Cheatham County High. The theme this year is “A Celebration of Homecoming: You Are Invited.” Come out and support your Eagles!
